Teachers-Day

Happy Teachers’ Day — to every teacher reading this, and to the ones who shaped how I think before I ever stood in front of a classroom myself.

Every September 5th brings the same wave of tributes: quotes about shaping minds, nostalgic school memories, a few posts about favorite professors. This year there’s a new question mixed in with all that. Some students now ask an AI tool before they ask me. It’s still only a few of them, not most — but the number is growing, and it’s changing what teaching needs to look like.

“A teacher’s true legacy is not in the lessons delivered, but in the lives inspired.”

Teacher’s Day reminds us of the invaluable role teachers play in shaping knowledge, character, and futures. It is a time for reflection, gratitude, and inspiration. On this day, we remember the mentors who lit our path with wisdom and encouragement, and we renew our own responsibility to guide, support, and inspire the students who now look to us with hope and trust.
